All 20 anime-style skill effects of Stylized Skill FX Vol.1–4 for Unreal Engine 5.8, built in Niagara, in one project: projectiles (Vol.1), area and beam spells (Vol.2), support and movement skills (Vol.3) and gameplay skills that play out over time (Vol.4). Five elements (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Wind, Dark), four effects each. Every effect is a full cast cycle (an anticipation beat, the release, and an impact on every target it reaches) driven by a drag-and-drop Blueprint with colour / size controls and gameplay events. All 20 effects include sound.

New in v1.1.2 (Fab review of Vol.3): the demo key-legend widget is now BP_FX_DemoLegendWidget (every Blueprint class uses BP_); every static mesh stores 2 UV channels (UV 1 = a non-overlapping lightmap layout, Light Map Coordinate Index 1); the listing states the exact texture count (71). Effects, materials and Niagara systems are unchanged.

New in v1.1.1 (Fab review fixes, all four volumes): every Blueprint now uses the BP_ prefix, camera shakes included (Blueprints/<Effect>/BP_CameraShake_...; the CameraShakes/ folder is gone). Each of the 20 showcase maps plays its effect on a loop when you press Play and explains itself with an editor-only SHOWCASE board. Blueprint runtime errors after stopping Play in the overview ("Attempted to access NiagaraComponent ... pending kill", BP_FX_Projectile when the Effect Type culled a bolt) are fixed: the projectile now checks every spawned system with Is Valid (Vol.1 stations). Also: START HERE text, generated lightmap UVs on the shared meshes, no unused default nodes in BP_FX_Target / BP_FX_ShowcaseGameMode.

Requirements: Unreal Engine 5.8. Only two engine plugins are used, Niagara and Engine Cameras (camera shakes); both are enabled by default. No C++, no input mappings, no project settings needed.

Quick start (60 seconds)

  1. Open the project. StylizedSkillFX.uproject opens on the Complete overview, Maps/L_StylizedSkillFX_Overview_Complete. (If you added the pack to a project of your own, open that map from the Content Browser.)
  2. Press Play. All 20 effects sit on labelled stations in series order 01–20, in one row. Each station repeats its effect on its own timer; its floor label shows the effect, its Blueprint and its systems. WASD + mouse fly and look. The START HERE board names the Blueprint to drag.
  3. Cast by hand in a demo. Open Maps/Demo/L_StylizedSkillFX_Demo_Vol1 (or _Vol2, _Vol3, _Vol4) and press Play: keys 1–5 cast that volume's five effects at the five dummies, with a key legend on screen; the hits and the other gameplay events print on screen.
  4. Use an effect: drag and drop. Drag the effect's Blueprint from Blueprints/<Effect>/ (for example Blueprints/OrbCastFire/BP_FX_Projectile_OrbCastFire) into your level and press Play. In Details → 3 · Look untick Use Default Look to recolour it (Main Color, Secondary Color) or change its glow (Glow Intensity); Scale resizes it.
  5. Gameplay. Bind the events (OnImpact and the archetype's own), call Cast() / Cancel() on a pre-placed actor, or spawn it with Spawn Actor from Class. Each volume's demo caster is a complete, commented example.

Full reference, by archetype

The Complete pack contains exactly the four volumes' content (byte-identical files, one shared folder). Each volume's guide below is the full reference for its effects and Blueprints; everything in them applies unchanged to the Complete pack.
